A computerized version of the Halstead Category Test: Preliminary data from an Italian sample

The use of computerized versions of psychometric tests is not very common in Italy, although it allows a better standardization of the assessment and scoring procedures. Here we introduced a computerized version of the Halstead Category Test, useful for administration in absence of the examiner. A sample of 80 Italian normal participants were submitted to the test. The effects of age, gender, education, presence of the examiner, and computer practice were evaluated in three different MANCOVAs, by using errors, latencies, and total time measures as dependent variables.
