The general objective of the present research is to determine the psychometric properties of the ATSS (Attitudes Towards Sexuality scale) in Peruvian university students. The research design was basic and instrumental. The sample comprised 310 participants of both sexes (men and women), aged between 16 and 36, who were pursuing a university degree. The results obtained in the exploratory factor analysis demonstrated acceptable fit indices, and the reliability of the instrument calculated using the internal consistency method was found to be adequate (α>0.60). The psychometric characteristics of the inventory have been confirmed, thus enabling the generation of new knowledge and the development of tests that validate and expand its dimensions, particularly in the domain of human sexuality. This facilitates a more profound comprehension of the psychological components involved in decision-making, which, in turn, influences attitudes and sexual behavior.
