This marvelous imaging technology has been utilized now in the field of forensic odontology replacing the conventional two dimensional imaging modalities. Cbct plays a pivotal role in personal identification; age estimation, sex determination, comparative analysis, etc. The present review aims to provide a in depth understanding of the role of CBCT in forensic odontology.
