DOI: https://doi.org/The present paper discusses the existing literature on behavioral drivers of purchase decisions in agricultural-related Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) and provides a particular focus on the Henan Province of China. Although the ETF market is expanding internationally, the use of the agriculture ETF is poorly studied in the developing world. As a result, this review paper specifically examines the influence of attitude toward investment, perceived return, risk, trust in financial institutions, herding behavior, and financial literacy on investment behavior, with a particular focus on how information search mediates the relationship between investment attitude and purchase decision. This paper also pinpoints literature gaps, suggests recommendation and provides implications on the future empirical research and investment in developing economies, especially in agricultural countries.
