DOI: https://doi.org/The importance of the study lies in establishing the level of incidence of the Covid-19 pandemic in the university academic activity of the Agrarian University of Ecuador, applying the econometric model differences in differences, being a descriptive and experimental study with the participation of teachers and students belonging to the Faculty of Agricultural Economics of the cities of Guayaquil, Milagro and El Triunfo, with data collected in two different times, that is, the virtual academic period and the period of classes in face-to-face mode. As a consequence, students had a greater impact on variables associated with their educational environment, while teachers had a more relevant impact in the field of health. The results obtained underscore the importance of considering the specific context of each dataset.
