DOI: https://doi.org/The work-life balance has become a burning problem of women working in service-based industries, especially in hospitality business, where unusual working hours, excessive workloads, and challenging customer relations can be the key factors that impose undue stress on employees. The proposed study investigates issues and coping mechanisms associated with the work-life balance and job satisfaction among married women in the hotel sector. The study problem is to conduct a review of current studies to gain insight on how stressors at work and organization conditions affect female capability to manage professional and personal life. The approach to a narrative review is taken, and systematic searches of the scholarly databases like Scopus, Web of Science, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar were used. After a PRISMA-based screening procedure, 35 peer-reviewed studies that were relevant to the study and published between 2020 and 2026 were incorporated into the final analysis. The results indicate that the irregular working hours, gender inequalities, and career growth opportunities, and social expectations have a considerable impact on job satisfaction and well-being among hospitality married women. Nevertheless, these issues can be countered by coping mechanisms such as time management, emotional strength, social support, and favourable organizational policies. The study finds that the flexibility of working conditions and the inclusion of workplace policies is the key to enhancing the well-being of the employees, but the review is constrained through the use of secondary literature and studies indexed by Scopus. The future studies need to concentrate on empirical studies and cross-cultural studies to further pursue the study of these dynamics.
