TPM – Testing, Psychometrics, Methodology in Applied Psychology is a quarterly peer-reviewed journal that emphasizes the publication of original research offering new knowledge to the fields of applied psychology, social psychology, work and organizational psychology, personality and individual differences, psychological methods. The journal represents a valuable place of encounter and exchange between scholars, professionals, and students.
The journal features contents that deepen knowledge in practical applications of psychology focusing on methodological issues and instruments useful for research and professional intervention. The variety of topics covered by TPM is a broad window on the world of applied psychology. The contributions containing scales’ validation are accepted only if the paper is not a simple validation, but aimed at broader theoretical or applicative goals, and the validation of the scale is a preliminary step to achieve these goals.
TPM’s articles, reviews, and commentaries emphasize methodologies relevant to both research and professional interventions. Attention is given to the proposition/adaptation of methods applicable in different social contexts, for instance, in organizations. Attention is also given to original research having practical implications. TPM’s Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement ensure the originality and ethicality of all its contents.
The mission of TPM is to rally the best new applied research from all over the world and spread it among scholars and practitioners.
